Political Experience

2022-Present

Town Council Member

I’m currently serving my second term on the Wallingford Town Council. These past two years have been especially productive, marked by a focus on modernization and stronger collaboration with our new Mayor Vinny Cervoni, Council Chair Joe Marrone, and Vice-Chair Christina Tatta.

My first term was spent under the leadership of Mayor Emeritus Bill Dickinson and then-Chairman Cervoni. As a new councilor at the time, I treated those two years as a learning experience—taking the opportunity to visit many of our town departments to better understand their pride points and pain points, and how I might be of service.

Having the unique experience of working with both our long-standing former mayor and our current forward-looking leadership has helped me strike a balance: honoring Wallingford’s traditions while staying focused on the future.

2020-2021

Board of Education Member

My term on the Board of Education was marked by rapid change, as it overlapped with the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. I was the only new member elected that year, but the need to pivot to distance learning and respond to shifting state requirements was a new experience for all of us. It required flexibility, collaboration, and a deep sense of responsibility to our students and families. During that time, we also oversaw a major leadership transition, hiring our current Superintendent, Danielle Belizzi, following the departure of Dr. Sal Menzo after his nine-year tenure.

That experience gave me a front-row seat to the importance of responsive, forward-thinking local leadership—especially during times of uncertainty. It also sparked my interest in running for Town Council, where I saw an opportunity to continue serving the community with a broader lens, helping to guide Wallingford through both its traditions and its transitions.

Professional Summary

I’m a supply chain and logistics professional with over 15 years of experience driving operational efficiency, cost savings, and systems improvement at companies like The LEGO Group, Unilever, and Diageo. I earned both my MBA and bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southern Connecticut State University.

At LEGO, I lead global distribution projects that integrate data analytics and AI to improve warehouse operations and minimize disruption. Before that, I helped Unilever save over $3.8 million in logistics costs by streamlining processes, automating key reports, and improving supplier performance. At Diageo, I worked across warehousing, customer operations, and project management—delivering measurable results in budgeting, automation, and customer satisfaction.

I bring a hands-on approach to problem-solving, a passion for collaboration, and a strategic mindset shaped by years of cross-functional leadership and continuous improvement.

2022-2023

Masters of Business Administration

I earned my MBA while serving my first term on the Town Council—a time that demanded both personal discipline and a deep commitment to public service. Balancing graduate studies with council responsibilities sharpened my ability to think critically, manage complex priorities, and make data-driven decisions. That education has strengthened my work on the council, especially when it comes to budgeting, long-term planning, and evaluating policy impacts through both a financial and community lens. It’s helped me approach challenges with a strategic mindset and a focus on practical, sustainable solutions for Wallingford.

2012-2015

Bachelor of Science, Business Administration

My undergraduate education, combined with years of experience in corporate supply chain, logistics, and systems management, gave me a strong foundation in problem-solving, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration. These skills have translated seamlessly into my service on both the Board of Education and the Town Council, where thoughtful planning, data analysis, and strategic decision-making are essential to serving the community effectively.
